[flexcoders] Parse Date/Time Value from XML (in ISO Format)

Given a date/time value obtained via HttpRequest or a web service in ISO format (yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss), what is the based technique for parsing this to a Date object in ActionScript?  There do not seem to be any built-in date parsing functions…   Thanks for any suggestions!   - Rick Yahoo!
