Tracked down the issue to another .swf in the Flex app that I was loading using mx.controls.Loader.
I've changed that to use an embedded .swf and it seems to work fine now.

Has anyone tried to integrate a Flex 1.5 swf with Breeze?
I've had a bit of a play around and every time I try to load a Flex swf the browser CPU utilization goes up to 100% and I have to kill it with Task Manager.
I've tried sticking a this._lockroot=true in the creationComplete handler for the top level of the Flex app, and adding a _lockroot attribute to the mx:Application tag but it doesn't seem to help.
The swf works fine when loaded in the standalone player.
Any suggestions?
