Hi Colin,

expandItem doesn’t expect a node in your tree, but in your dataprovider

example:

myTree.expandItem(treeData.node[0],true, false);

where treeData is the dataprovider (in this case, an xml document)

Hope this helps,

Jonas

Subject: [flexcoders] Flex 2: How To Use Tree.expandItem()

Hi, how do I use the Tree.expandItem() function?  What is the “item” that I pass to the function?  An example would be much appreciated.  Thanks!
