I recommend reading AdvancED Flex Applifcation Development (http://www.amazon.com/AdvancED-Flex-Application-Development-Building/dp/1590598962/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1202745879&sr=8-1). Chapter 17 is all about about SEO and Flex, and has some great details. I strongly recommend using the Sitemaps Protocol for any website needing SEO, and they explain how to do this in Flex.
