There are several Tokyo High Power linears that work well with QRP rigs.

My brother-in-law has an HL-50B that works well with his FT-817 and K2.
Many of these have problems with our FCC rules, as they can be used by
CBers.
I believe you can order them direct from Japan.
Considering all the places one can buy illegal (and cheap) CB linears,
include eBay and any truck stop, it is a shame an amateur who wants an THP
linear for his QRP rig has to get around the import rules.
In the boat anchor department, you might consider a Johnson Thunderbolt
amplifier. It has a pair of 4-400As that are grid driven. When I got my
license in 1961 there was a ham in my village that had one of these. He kept
the case off the unit, and as a result one could see the tubes glow read,
along with the 866s glowing blue. Pretty impressive to a 14 year old.

It would be interesting to compile a list of vintage and current linear
amplifiers for the FLEX-1500.
My TMC PAL-500 qualifies, as well as the Collins 367A-3 (KWT-6), which has
similar low-drive specs.
But, my heart be still! Just spotted: the ultimate vintage vacuum-tube
linear, a Collins 208U-10, that can be driven to full power by the
FLEX-1500:

Specs indicate that only 0.2 Watts is needed for a full 10-kW output.
Perfect!!
Minor issues: it requires 3-phase 22-kW AC power and a 3500-pound
load-bearing floor.
That might be overkill. If you want something smaller (and cheaper) you
could consider the Johnson Thunderbolt. Two parallel 4-400s running grounded
cathode. Johnson claims only 10W drive is needed for full output. So the 5W
from the 1500 would only driver the t-bolt to half output, but that is still
around 1hp.
