Photos of the 6000 backside show an RCA jack labelled "ALC".

Is this a conventional hardware ALC line that allows an external amp to cut the 6000's drive power back if the amp detects an overdrive situation?

What is the polarity of the ALC voltage required (I think negative-going to cut back is conventional)?

What range of ALC voltage is it designed for (I think most rigs operate in the range of 0 to aprx -10)?
