Hi Dave, I am not sure what to tell you. I had this issue twice. The first time was when the loop antenna had one lead disconnect from the balun. Once the antenna was fixed it went back to normal. The Second was after my cat decided to play around behind the desk. I found that RF got into the Firewire cable after she had relocated the Firewire cable on top of the RG-213 to wall antenna port cable. Even with the toroids on the Firewire, 10 watts was not liked by the Firewire System.
