Use /sim/current-view/name.

Use view.indexof("Foo View") to get the internal index. You
can also set /sim/current-view/view-number=-101. That is,
set the negative property index to automatically get view 8
in your example.

Extra view that isn't defined? Sounds esoteric. Either it's there
or it isn't. But *if* it's there, then it will be used, even if
it's just an empty /sim/view[123]. In that case fgfs will use
default values. Just don't define not-defined views. ;-)
