My personal favourite would come without any windows manager but
instead directly start into fullscreen FlightGear. Still I acknowledge
that people have different taste and probably want to see something
like fgrun/kfreeflight on a live CD. I'd say you should have a look at
those two and pick the one _you_ think does the best job on the live
CD - it will be _your_ creation and _you_ should feel good with the
result.

Anyway, whatever you're going to put on the CD it should be clear that
the focus of the whole thing is FlightGear. You'll run into enough
trouble getting the different video cards detected and the appropriate
drivers loaded, so you'd probably be happy not having to deal with too
much decoration.
