I was recently contacted by a recruiter looking to fill a fairly high level
team lead /manager position developing an advanced collimnated FAA/JAR Level
D compliant wide field of view simulator display system. It sounds like
they are interested in structural issues along with everything else (light
weight, rigid, etc.) My sense is they are interested more in the hardware,
less in content/software. Location is Ohio, USA; pay would be $100k+ ... I
don't know the company name; I only have a recruiter contact. I don't
endorse the company or the recruiter, I have no idea if this would be a good
place to work or not; I can't say that the salary promises would work out,
and all other applicable disclaimers apply :-) but if there is anyone out
there interested in hearing more details, email me *off list* and I can send
you the full job description and contact info. Postings to the flightgear
devel lists are archived on the web (theoretically) :-) and searchable for
all eternity so serious replies should be off list if you want to search for
your new job candidly.
