I once created a quick hack at a playback protocol file which is already present in the base package. usage: Recording: fgfs --generic=file,out,20,<flight.out>,playback Playback: fgfs --generic=file,in,20,<flight.out>,playback --fdm=null It might not be exactly what you need but could serve as a good start.
