The part we considered "risky" was that possibly quite a few aircraft needed 
an update to their configuration files, in order to make use and/or function 
correctly with the latest JSBSim features. This would probably require more 
time than we'd like. At least that is my understanding. 

I don't think that anybody would consider a new JSBSim version risky in terms 
of crashing FlightGear or inducing compiler errors. :-)
