They do now. I've just pushed a fix that integrates the random vegetation shader with the atmospheric scattering. Please re-test. On my system I see no performance degradation with this compared with normal tree rendering, which I know was a concern for Thorsten. As always, I'm interested if anyone sees any perf impact, compared with running the atmospheric scattering with the "old" tree rendering. If you think you see degradation, please modify Effects/tree.eff and insert an additional <property> tag into the first technique predicate section, which will allow you to toggle the new behaviour on or off in-sim. Question for Thorsten: I've only integrated the terrain-haze.[vert|frag], not terrain-haze-detailed.[vert|frag]. How much additonal quality does that add, and is it appropriate for trees? Hopefully I'll be able to do a similar fix for the random buildings before the release. As always, fixing things trumps pointless arguments. -Stuart ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
