ah, hi John M.,

i assume i am 'that guy' you refer to. for the record i am not pissed off,
merely exhausted. secondly, i have tried to leave fluxlist, several times. a
few in the last week actually. it seems i am still subscribed now, even as i
am talked about in the past tense.

i joined fluxlist a few years ago to discuss things pertaining to fluxus.
when this list provides that service i am thankful for it. but it seems to
have been hijacked a while back and now has little to offer a fluxus
enthusiast.

but it's okay, i've joined a beatles mailing list. and now that i'm one of
the fab four myself i've taken to uploading my new songs, daily, for the
enjoyment of others. but i won't stop there, i'm gonna send photos and
recipes and rough drafts of the play i am writing. and if one of the
original beatles happens to log on and tell me that i'm no more a member of
the group than say, pete shotten, i'll tell them that they're old and past
their prime. "the torch has been passed" i'll say. i'm the beatles now.

yours,

d
