In December, the Austin New Music Co-Op will present an evening of performances using stones and rocks. Pieces by John Gibson, Christian Wolff, Pauline Oliveros and NMC members will be performed. Outside the performance space, there will be a number of installations using rocks. I am thinking about doing an installation/performance (I will also be performing in the ensemble). My idea is to kneel down by a pile of stones and a sign that reads "let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
