Since consumption is mandatory, this seems like an easy project to participate in.

Subject: OBSESSIVE CONSUMPTION NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!
From: Kate <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
To: Kate Bingaman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I am coming to you in serious desperation on this Tuesday evening.
I have a little something called a THESIS SHOW coming up in a few short
months and I am calling on you for participation and generous help in a
group project.

I was struggling with a way to include the viewers of obsessive consumption
in my show.
This is my solution.
I am asking for you to send me an image and a receipt of an item that you
have purchased. I would also like the following questions to be answered.

name:
location:
age:
occupation:

Why did you buy this item:
Where did you buy this item:
How much did it cost:
Ranking:

And anything else that you would find relevant to include.

I am making a catalog called "What did you buy today?" I hope to send you a copy of the catalog in exchange for your participation. I can guarantee you a handmade quality product.

You may send me digital files. You may send me the actual photo and receipt.

If you choose to do this please send all submissions to:

AGAIN! YOUR HELP AND PARTICIPATION IS WANTED GREATLY AND APPRECIATED! ====================================================================== Okay! Normal update stuff! The purchases for the week of October 13th - 19th are up and ready to be viewed here: http://www.obsessiveconsumption.com I didn't have a lot of purchases, but the overall money total was HIGH! whew! I thought I would be tired from spending last week, but this week is starting out even worse...

=========================
A few things of interest:
Go here: http://www.reviewfund.org

This is the arts paper in KC that featured my work on their cover. They
also wrote a review of the show as well.
My favorite sentence in the article is "it seems that the only reason that
Kate goes to the grocery store is so she can purchase miller high life,
magazines and more quick fix junk food."

=========================
The photo galleries on the front page are functioning as well.
Please check these out, if you have time.

Okay! Again, I would love for all to participate in the catalog project. I think that the finished product could be pretty fantastic.

Please e-mail me if you have any questions.

Have a great week!
Kate
