Sorry chaps, i meant to mention this on saturday but
it slipped my mind as things often do.
It was an interesting radio prog on the BBC radio 4
"Archive Hour" slot about the short lived Zapple
project that the Beatles toyed with for about 6 months
before Klein came along and affectively closed down
Apple as it was losing far too much money.
A fellow called Miles was engaged to go round to lots
of counter culture hangouts and poets pads etc. to
record them for possible future release on Zapple
records. poeple like Allen Ginsberg, gregory corso,
Lawrence fellinghetti, William Burroughs etc.
It still may be available on the BBC "listen again"
thingy that I can never get as Real Player wont work
on this machine for some reason.
