It’s probably ‘Admin’ with a blank password. That’s what FMP starts you off
with on a new file.

Subject: Unwanted password

Hello,
I'm using FMP12 Advanced on a Mac with a 10.8.5 OS. All I'm trying to do is
make a back-up of my database. This database is not password protected.
However, when I save a copy, compacted to save space, once it is saved, it asks
me for a password to open it.

There's no password on the original file. What is wrong? What can I do? Any
thoughts?
