[kayak builder meeting in Northern Germany, september] > OK ! I'll jump at this challenge, and will try to make it. I'll sew my > parka > for that time as well since to me it sounds horribly rainy and cold > september in the Baltic (or North sea). It depends on where you live. I did a very pleasant overnight-trip with Volker and his self build greenlandic foldable in November (pictures are still to come, showing both his boat and the trip), as well as a 3-day-trip in December on the Baltic Sea (German trip report with pictures at www.mariangunkel.de/darss.html). So, it might get rainy and cold, but it might be lovely 25 degrees Celsius, sunshine and T-Shirt-paddling. > What about meetings going on in Lake constanz ?? Or have you ever paddled > in Venice ?? look at Vogalonga official page: early may each year. Anyone else would like to jump in? C'mon, you European builders! There are several "ordinary" meetings in Lake constanz. I personally would like to paddle Lago Maggiore. Where about are you situated, Stefano? Where is anybody else living? Isn't it introduction time?
