Hari Kunzru is a British novelist and journalist. He has written three novels titled The Impressionist (2002), Transmission (2004), and My Revolutions (2007), and a short story compilation, Noise (2006). Kunzru’s works are able to steal the literature world and has been translated into 21 languages, and received some awards such as Somerset Maugham Award, Betty Trask Prize of the Society of Authors, and British Book Award. In 2003, Granta magazine named him as one of 20 best British novelists. Hari Kunzru will be present in Komunitas Salihara to read quotes from his novel and answer some questions from discussion participants. The discussion will uncover the issues related to multi-identity and radicalism departing from the novel’s characters specifically (in Britain) or the multi-identity and radicalism in the world he has observed. The discussion with Hari Kunzru will be moderated by activist Debra H. Yatim.
