The 4-view-modes timeline change is now on trunk and is the default on

The "selected entry" highlighting, such as seen here:

Still looks goofy in the Modern View, especially using Edge. Your
help in fixing that problem will be much appreciated.
Bug reports and suggestions for further improvement to the timeline
are also appreciated. Your feedback so far has been very helpful.
