This also affected my current project (jsish.org) so I thought I'd mention it here. Note: some reported possible issues on some platforms, but the patch worked fine in my limited testing. BTW: I've subsequently upgraded to a newer release of linenoise than that used in fossil, so as to get "hint" support.
