i'm in no rush, and would be thrilled to see what you can do with it :). It
will likely be several months before Fossilite is at all useful. It can
currently send arbitrary requests, but the results are raw JSON, which not
many people want to look at ;). Nonetheless, it's become my new main hobby
project for the time being and i very much hope to get it to a usable state
"reasonably soon" (accounting, of course, for Real Life Interventions and
such). Ideally, though this is becoming ever less realistic due to my
workload, i could have a useful prototype to show Richard when he's in
Munich next week :).

And while we're on the topic... is there a particular feature order
priority people would like to see in such an app? My current thinking is
something along these lines:

- timeline overview (basically a glorified RSS reader), eventually evolving
into a timeline browser.

- directory browser. i have a JS prototype working, so the concept has been
proven:

- tag browser

- wiki browser and possibly editor (i also have JS code for that, and a
Java port shouldn't be too difficult).

At this point i'm not emotionally tied to any particular ordering, though,
and "could very possibly be influenced" by community feedback. The only
requirement i'm placing on myself is that i don't change the Fossil JSON
API [all that much] while working on this (that's only to keep me from
wasting too much time context-switching between the two, and not because
the API is already perfect!).
