whether you care for adoption of `fossil' -- in which case, indeed,
perception
of the potential new users is a non-negligible factor. personally, I would
like
to see an increase of the user base and broader acceptance of fossil,
especially since `git' (with its tons
of gotchas making it ill fit for "human-sized" projects in my view)
increasingly seems to be the only (recognized) game in town.

I'll continue to keep the latest SQLite trunk on the Fossil trunk, and
run
the Fossil trunk on important websites like http://www.sqlite.org/,
http://www.fossil-scm.org/, and http://core.tcl.tk/. That will be
sufficient testing.
