I don't see anything else wrong with your setup, and I don't know why
it is not working.
Moving the fossil binary into a different directory helped, as did a
little tweaking of the path layout in my cgi file. It now looks
something like this:
directory: repos/
notfound: /fossil/repos/projectlist.html
I still have some work to do to redirect my local repos to the new
remote repo, as the domain name has changed and redirection seems to
lose the thread, but I'm making good progress. Thanks.
