Hi Rob, Can you explain in more detail what you do and what happens? For me it's not clear what you mean with "click on a generated list". Do you click on a generated file in the book file? Or are your generated files opened and you click on a paragraph? You know that you have to press CTRL + ALT and then click on a paragraph in the TOC to jump to the target paragraph.
MIF wash is always a good idea! You can download the Mif2Go demo and use this feature. (MIF wash is not restricted.) As far as I remember there is also a free ExtendScript script which you could use.
