Yep, I bet there's a comma or some other non-alphanumeric character(s) in the company name string.
We just lived with it. Do you *do* anything with the Author property of the PDF? For example, are you programmatically extracting it to use as metadata in a portal and, as such, the quotes cause issues? If not, what's the real issue with them? When I removed the comma, the quotes went away. When the PDF generates, the company name is shown in the PDF Properties, but it has quote marks around it. The quote marks are not present in the File Info for the book. If I take the quote marks out of the Author field in the PDF properties, they reappear after saving the file. I don't think I've ever seen this happen before, and I was wondering if it is something in my setup or just a Friday weirdness, or if Adobe just doesn't like having punctuation in the Author field. Windows 7 Pro, all updates (as far as I know) Framemaker 2017, fully updated Acrobat Acrobat Pro DC, 2015, fully updated As an aside, is there any way to set up the following PDF properties in Frame or the Distiller job options so I don't have to remember to check them all the time?
