Hello all,

I am having trouble getting the temperature of an AMD A10-5800K CPU to show
up
I load the amdtemp module and the acpi_asus modules.
Then I run
bombur /usr/ports # sysctl -ad|grep temp
and receieve
kern.posix1version: Version of POSIX attempting to comply to
kern.sched.steal_idle: Attempts to steal work from other cores before idling
net.inet.ip.rtminexpire: Minimum time to attempt to hold onto dynamically
learned routes
net.link.ether.inet.maxtries: ARP resolution attempts before returning error
net.inet6.ip6.use_tempaddr:
net.inet6.ip6.temppltime:
net.inet6.ip6.tempvltime:
net.inet6.ip6.prefer_tempaddr:
debug.fdc.retries: Number of retries to attempt
hw.usb.template: Selected USB device side template
user.posix2_version: The version of POSIX 1003.2 with which the system
attempts to comply

ipmitool also seems to fail
bombur /usr/ports # ipmitool sensor
Could not open device at /dev/ipmi0 or /dev/ipmi/0 or /dev/ipmidev/0: No
such file or directory
Get Device ID command failed
Unable to open SDR for reading

I would appreciate any help you can give.

Thank you
