bittorrent is written in python, so you probably can't do without it. the thing about mozilla, well. freebsd ports are infamous for having outrageously pathetic dependencies sometimes (sometimes I think, a port maintainer just adds everything currently installed on his own machine to the depencency list, just so that it "works for me, works for you").
