Sounds like you need to create /var/.snap/
creating /var/.snap/dump_snapshot is mksnap_ffs job. mksnap_ffs is launch by dump without full path and can't be found.
mksnap_ffs is in /sbin folder.
I'm I the only one here who dump -L in cron ?!?!
