Hello. I would like to ask for help with installing Snapshots (snapper) on freedombox running on debian stretch. When installing via plinth, I get following error:
Error installing application: ('snapshot', '', 'Creating config failed (/sbin/chsnap not installed). Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/plinth/actions/snapshot", line 161, in <module> main() File "/usr/share/plinth/actions/snapshot", line 157, in main subcommand_method(arguments) File "/usr/share/plinth/actions/snapshot", line 61, in subcommand_setup subprocess.run(command, check=True) File "/usr/lib/python3.5/subprocess.py", line 398, in run output=stdout, stderr=stderr) subprocess.CalledProcessError: Command \'[\'snapper\', \'create-config\', \'/\']\' returned non-zero exit status 1 ') apt search chsnap doesn't return anything. For snapper, it returns: snapper/stable,now 0.4.1-3 amd64 [installed] As per google, I see that this is probably bug with snapper itself - in particular running on ext4 partitions. https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2013-02/msg00421.html So I don't know, if it is anything that can be solved within the freedombox... Still, any comments are appreciated. Thanks, D. _______________________________________________ Freedombox-discuss mailing list Freedombox-discuss@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/freedombox-discuss
