But you are correct, it is hard to find and buy fast media that small anymore.

Since we stick the image in a zip file, a 512mb image with 140mb free space is
more or less the same size as it would be as a 8gb image with 7.5gb free space.
The overall capacity has little to do with the download size once compressed.
