Hi John,

The error message means that QEMU was compiled without '–enable-gtk', so the gtk option for display is not available.

I am afraid there is no quick and easy solution without: 1) switching/upgrading to distribution version containing QEMU compiled with '–enable-gtk', or 2) compiling QEMU on your own.

(For example, as far as I can say this option is enabled at least in Fedora by default, I regularly use, for quite a while.)

Best regards,
Lukas

Dne 16. 03. 24 v 9:38 hms--- via Freedos-user napsal(a):
QEMU runs successfully on my Linux installation using the display option sdl. eg. "-display sdl" If I use "-display gtk", I get the following error "qemu-system-i386: -display gtk: GTK support is disabled" when invoking QEMU.
Anyone know what this means and how to fix it?
The reason for wanting to try gtk is that it appears that sdl uses the F11 key to toggle between window and full screen. I want to use the F11 function key for other purposes while running FreeDos.

Thanks John
