Hi,
the windows created are managed by the server, so that window will have
some use, so the window itself is 'works as intended'
but there might be some other issue hiding (e.g. not properly drawing
the window?), so you might want to try with current master and see, if
the issue disappears (RAIL has some issues that might have been fixed
recently or are to be fixed with currently pending pull requests)
regards

Hi there,
I use FreeRDP 2.9.0 in Ubuntu 22.04 (compiled by myself) and I have a little
problem when launching RemoteApp Windows applications using xfreerdp to connect
to a Windows 10 20H2 server:
Sometimes, and *frequently but not always*, there is a "phantom" window with name
"RemoteApp Marker Window" that gives a little black rectangle at the left top of the
screen and that stays here when the application is closed.
I don't know if it is a bug? Can I safely close this window using devilspie,
for example? Should I make a bug report?
Thanks for your answer,
RB
