here's an announcement for a course that will include a section on doing
recons in FreeSurfer and how to interface it with FSL.

We are pleased to announce "The First International FSL/Freesurfer
Course", June 11-14, 2002 (Tue-Fri in the week following HBM2002), at
the
Howard Florey Institute, University of Melbourne, Australia.

This course provides theoretical and practical instruction on how the
structural and functional analysis tools in the FSL and Freesurfer
software libraries work. The course is aimed at both new and existing
users of these packages and will cover both basic and advanced features.

Speakers include Christian Beckmann (FMRIB, Oxford) Doug Greve (MGH,
Boston), Mark Jenkinson (Howard Florey Institute, Melbourne), Stephen
Smith (FMRIB, Oxford) and Mark Woolrich (FMRIB, Oxford).
