I've been using FreeSWITCH on Windows lately and seems to work pretty well. Sangoma has been testing more and more lately the Windows drivers with FreeSWITCH, and I think you should be just fine.I have not tested 1.0.4 though, always using trunk, if you are going to be using PSTN lines (and therefore requiring openzap) I think it would be a good idea for you to use trunk and latest wanpipe drivers.
