By research, what do you mean? Immediate answer to saving lives or the ongoing genetic research, although important and interesting, is ten years away from an answer? As to another better way, this, and its resultant research, is exactly what the report discusses as successfully taking place and preference in several areas as either an alternative to spraying or as the key preventive strategy while relying on sprays only for interior application. But, you have to read the report. Panic decisions may be deemed humanitarian, but to ignore the new research is arrogance in the sense that one is ignoring truth of successes where pesticide use has been greatly reduced.
