Hy interested ones, I have created a new proposal http://framework.zend.com/wiki/display/ZFPROP/Zend_Translate_Ini+-+Thomas+Weidner which is now ready for review.
It is a new adapter for Zend_Translate which accepts the convinient INI format as input.
