So, finally someone nicked the DVI-VGA cable I use to hook up my TiBook to an external monitor. I'm pressed to get a replacement and I'd like to know if the apple cable is strictly necessary or could I could pull any such cable (any brand) off ebay? The question may sound stupid, but I figured I'd better ask before wasting time and money.
