Hello Frank,

A temporary ban on the LEM lists is normally never more than 72 hours. 10 months sounds more like a permanent ban unless you were asked to apologize and/or agree to abiding by list rules and refused to do so. This could result in the ban being kept in place.

Those permanently banned may or may not be given a fresh start on the Google Groups list - Dan Knight will have the final word on that though. Temporary bans will normally be over by the time we are completely moved over to Google Groups.
