Summary: Linked away messages

Initial Comment:
IMHO, there should be a way for the user (in the
preferences for example) to construct an association
table between the different away messages of all
supported protocols.

For example, I would like to be able to link "Out to
lunch" (MSN, Yahoo!) to "Away" (ICQ) so that I need
just one click when I go out to lunch. In the same way,
the user personnal away messages should have a place in
that table. If I create "Someone in my office" in
Yahoo!, then I would probably like to link it to "Busy"
(MSN) and "Occupied" (ICQ).

Currently I need to select all messages one by one when
I go and do it again when I come back.

Thanks.

AB.

Hello airbete,

I would like to second this. When I right click on the icon,
go to away, and select an away message, it only sets me away
on AIM, not MSN (Windows XP, can't remember if it does that
on Linux). If you could make associations between them as
described above, you wouldn't have to manually set each IM
program as away.

Isn't the purpose of the program to integrate everything?

Please consider AB's suggestion. Thanks,

- Technel
