Its become a popular product with SMEs, because it allows for the messenging server to be kept in-house and therefore limits the transmittion of sensitive data to the outside world. It also has triple-DES encryption, and a centrally maintained contact list, all of which are nice for sysadmins. Unfortunately there's no current way to use it on a Linux box, so support in some form from GAIM would be super. Bye for now!
