If the game were done that way, I would not care for it.  Quidditch is not 
played like a game of chess, nor is it played like one of those old 
electronic football games on which you position your men, then flip the 
switch to start the board vibrating, which causes the action to proceed.  It 
is a fast action game, played through the use of skill and training and, at 
times, a game played through instinct.  To stop after each play and set the 
pieces for the next, or to deliberate what to do next during a time out, as 
in football, just would not be Quidditch to me.
