in order to accept donations, all project admins need to opt in for it (the
default is off).

i think it might be better if we had a "meet the team" page which listed all
the core developers and had a link to an amazon wish list or something for
each person.   we should provide a mechanism for people who use ganglia to
show their appreciation.
