Hello,

I installed Ganglia, authd and libe from source from Ganglia's sourceforge
website. When I run gmond, and then run gstat, it shows the node to be running
fine (with gexec enabled too). I also proceeded to install the openssl key
pairs as described in http://www.theether.org/authd/ and put them in /etc. I
then proceeded to set the GEXEC_GMOND_SVRS environmental variable.

Now, when I run `gexec -n 1 uptime', I expected to get the uptime run on the
node, however, I got the error: "Could not obtain signature from authd on
localhost". I searched for the error online and got an earlier mail in the
archive saying that the error could be solved by restarting authd. However,
that did not help either.

I am using an Ubuntu 9.10 installation. Does anyone else have gexec working on
Ubuntu?

Thanks,
