Hi all, We have a setup of i686 machines with 32 bit RHEL AS 4 installed on them. As I couldn't find the right RPMs,I have downloaded the tar ball ganglia-3.0.4.tar.gz. When I was installing(while making),I didn't get any errors. After running "gmond" and "telnet localhost 8649" for testing the installation, the gmond processing was running and telnet was unable to connect. When I checked for the deamon(service gmond status) it was showing like "gmond dead but subsys locked ". Can I have a solution for this.
