Hi I am testing ganglia in a cluster of linux but we are getting this confusing peaks in the bytes/s and in the packets/s (image attached)
I just look into the linux code and compare with the unix code (libmetrics/.../metrics.c), looks like the unix code has more thoughts behind .... So my question is, why the function counterdiff is not implemented in linux metrics? If it is a matter of lack of time maybe I can provide a patch just to provide the safe/paranoids measures that that function do for unix in linux (mostly a copy paste of the function to linux/metrics.c) Ideas? thanks roger ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Ganglia-general mailing list Ganglia-general@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ganglia-general
