Hi

I am testing ganglia in a cluster of linux but we are getting this
confusing peaks in the bytes/s and in the packets/s (image attached)

I just look into the linux code and compare with the unix code
(libmetrics/.../metrics.c), looks like the unix code has more thoughts
behind ....
So my question is, why the function counterdiff is not implemented in
linux metrics?

If it is a matter of lack of time maybe I can provide a patch just to
provide the safe/paranoids measures that that function do for unix in
linux (mostly a copy paste of the function to linux/metrics.c)

Ideas?

thanks

roger
