That is because read_name (in read-md.c) considers the ':' in
'<CSGNMODE:CSGNVMODE>' as terminating the name.  It probably
shouldn't do that inside '<>'; alternatively, read-rtl.c should
deal with it in the various places it uses read_name to parse
a mode.
