In accordance to the revised [1] Jakarta PMC bylaws [2], I'd like to ask the board to nominate a person or persons at this time to administer an election of Jakarta PMC members.
While they are free to choose any mechanism they see fit, based on observing both board elections and the recent election of the XML PMC, I would recommend a process of public nominations on [EMAIL PROTECTED] requiring two seconds (for a total of three +1's), to be followed by a secret ballot.
