Hi, All,
I heard from product guys that there was an unintended bug in the account client when it handles the countries in where Z2 is not launched. However, the root cause was found and the fixed binary is under test by QA team. I expect that this bug will be fixed by next update. A solution to this problem is definitely needed. There are also complaints about this on Samsung's user forum btw https://samsung.tizenforum.com/ Regards, Olivier On Mon, Oct 17, 2016 at 7:16 AM, jinmin <jin...@samsung.com> wrote: Hi, Olivier Would you mind let me know the exact situation of the issue? As far as I know, the regional lock is not applied to Z2 phone and Tizen store is also available in over 50 countries in MEA. Tizen store should be available in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Madagascar where you mentioned. If you let me know the exact issue, then I can ask the related person to fix the bug. Samsung likes to control everything but there are no borders in Africa: a Z2 phone sold in South Africa will land in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, etc Samsung customers in these countries get a "Service not Available in your Country" message, which is absurd imo...
